2、 they made of?S2: _ 环节说明:由向学生问其家里的电器、交通工具入手进入本单元内Step 3 完成教材1a-2d的任务1.1a学生看本节四种发明,判断它们被发明的先后顺序。2.1b听1b录音,把每项发明及其年份搭配起来。3.1c学生B遮住日期。学生A 问学生B 在1b图画中的物品是什么时候发明的。然后交换角色,再练习。并找几组学生展示他们的对话。4.2a听2a的录音,根据听到的顺序给下面的发明标上1-3的序号5.2b再听录音,完成表格。6.2c小组练习,学生就2b模仿本节对话练习对话,并找几组学生展示他们的对话。7.2d处理学生预习后的重难点,然后学生两人一组读对话,然后让2
3、-3对学生表演对话。课堂资料包Step 1 重难点解析1.I think the TV was invented before the car.我认为电视比汽车发明得早。这是一个主从复合句,think后面跟了一个宾语从句。因为主句是一般现在时态,从句根据句意用了一般过去时态。(1)was invented意为“被发明”,此结构为一般过去时的被动语态。一般过去时的被动语态的结构为“was/were + 及物动词的过去分词”。如:These trees were planted last year.这些树是去年种的。The car was bought yesterday.这部车是昨天买的。(2)
4、invent作动词,意为“发明,创造”,指发明以前没有的新东西。当物做主语时,常用被动语态。invention名词,意为“发明物”;inventor名词,意为“发明家,发明者”。如:Edison,a great inventor, invented many great inventions during his life.爱迪生,一个伟大的发明家,在他的一生中发明了许多重要的发明。Many inventions have been invented last year.去年有多项发明。2.What are they used for?它们是用来做什么的? be used for sth./d
5、oing sth.意为“被用来做某事”,表示用途或目的,后接名词或动名词,相当于be used to do sth.。如:Clothes are used for keeping (=to keep) warm.衣服是用来保暖的。Wood can be used for building (=to build) houses.木材可以用于建房子。The stick is used to write on the blackboard.那根棒子被用来在黑板上写字。辨析:be used for,be used as 与be used by(1)be used for被用来(做),for表示用途或目
6、的,后接名词或动名词形式。如:Knives are used for cutting things.刀子是用来切东西的。Bikes are used for riding.自行车是用来骑的。(2)be used as 被用作,as是介词,意为“作为”,其后一般接名词,强调使用的工具或手段。如:The box is used as a table by my mother.这个箱子被妈妈当作桌子使用。(3)be used by 被使用,by是介词,意为“被,由”,后接动作的执行者。如:The tools are used by the workers in the factory.这家工厂的工人
