1、英语语法,状语从句,一、概念,1.定义：在主从复合句中，用于修饰主句中动词、形容词 或副词的句子，叫状语从句。2.类型：状语从句按其在句中的作用分为：时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、条件、方式、让步、比较状语从句九类。3.位置：由从属连词引导，可位于主句前，亦可位于主句后。位于句首时，用逗号与其后的主句隔开。,状语从句的构成,简单句+并列连词+简单句,状语从句的分类,比较状语从句,一.时间状语从句,（1）主将从现Ill ring up as soon as I get to Beijing.,(2)when 主句和从句动作同时发生 before 之前 after 之后 as 并行发生，不分先后,
2、（3）untiltill 引导的时间状语从句A 动词是延续性动词，主句为肯定Ill wait for you till you come to see me.B 动词是非延续性动词 notuntilI didnt go to bed until I finished my homework.,（4）since自以来,主句用一般现在时或现在完成时，从句用一般过去时It has been+since 从句It is been+since 从句I have worked in this school since I graduated from Beijing University.It is 10
3、 years since I began to study English.,二：条件状语从句,（1）主将从现 Ill visit the Great Wall,if it doesnt rain tomorrow.(2)if引导的条件状从所表示的前提或条件将来可以实现主将从现在完成时进行时We will give you a good price if you are thinking of buying it.,(3)祈使句+andor引导的结果状从，祈使句在意义上 一个条件条件状从Use your head,and youll find a way.=If you use your he
4、ad,youll find a way.,三 原因状语从句,1 because since as(语气由高到低)引导why的提问用because回答Why are you late?Because Im ill.,2since 用在人们已知道的实施“既然”Since you cant answer the question,you can ask someone for help.,四 目的状语从句,（1）由 so that,in order that 等引导，谓语中常有may,might,can,could,will,would等情态动词。He must get up early so th
